Used to be if you had a hole in your shirt, you’d toss it or try to fix it (but probably just toss it because fixing it is nonsense). But these days when you get a tear, snag, or rip in your clothes just make the hole bigger, man.
Distressing your clothes is nothing new. I know that, you know that. Our parents remind us of that when we buy new ripped jeans and they brag about how they used to make their own. But the clothes popping up everywhere on celebs and Instagram are next-level distressed. They’re shredded. Like shredded cheese shredded. Like, putting-on-your-shirt-is-hard-because-you-don’t-know-which-hole-is-the-neck-hole shredded and it looks dope.
